Yale University, Battell Chapel, New Haven, CT: Preservation research and historically accurate restoration of iconic religious decoration

The Battell Chapel at Yale University was one of the first restoration projects undertaken by John Canning & Co. Through investigation and multiple finish exposures, all of the original decoration and stencil patterns in the chapel were identified and faithfully restored with their historic colors.
