John Canning & Co. was hired under separate contract to perform decorative finishes analysis and consulting for the Eisenhower Executive Office Building’s historic suite of rooms. In collaboration with Page Conservation, Inc., we in-painted and reinstated the decorative painting and free-hand art work on the ceiling, cove, and cornice. We also performed all general and decorative painting throughout, including stenciling, glazing, lining, gilding, bronzing, and faux marbre. The Eisenhower Executive Office Building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a National Historic Landmark.
