For this high Victorian Gothic Church, John Canning Studios acted as the general contractor coordinating all work and trades for the interior restoration of the sanctuary, altars, nave, balcony and transept. Exposures, or historic windows, revealed the original decorative scheme concealed beneath layers of paint. Based on those findings, decorative finishes in the sanctuary and side altars were reinstated. We also replicated missing and damaged ornamental plaster elements and cleaned and conserved thirty five fine art murals, totaling 3,500 square feet.
