Gearing Up For The Virtual APT Conference

Every year APT International has a conference, but this year it's a little different and going virtual.

The Association for Preservation Technology (APT) is the premier cross-disciplinary organization dedicated to promoting the best technology for conserving historic structure and their settings.  The APT’s mission is to advance appropriate traditional and new technologies to care for, protect, and promote the longevity of the built environment and to cultivate the exchange of knowledge throughout the international community.

John Canning & Co. has been a long time member and participant in the APTI conferences. We are proud to be sponsor again this year and are looking forward to the same great content in this new format.

Check out the full video that was featured at the conference.

As we lead up to the October 1st start of the conference we wanted to share some thoughts from members and participants.

The Week Has Arrived....

" I have been a member of APT for over 30 years. I have enjoyed the experience of sharing and promoting the best technology for conservation and preservation of historic buildings. Richard Mull past president of the National Trust Preservation expressed that preservation of our built environment is a link from the past to the present. We as members of APTI and the work we do individually and collaboratively have the responsibility to make that link from the present to the future."

— JOHN CANNING, PRINCIPAL, JOHN CANNING & CO.
