Canning was hired to beautify the interior of the church, which was done in two phases. During the design phase, we developed a cohesive color palette and provided renderings for the Sanctuary and Nave Elevations designs.
During the production phase, in the sanctuary, we performed conservation cleaning for the high altar grille, two side altars, and two statues. As well as inpainting the two statues, frames, and pedestals, and modifying the plaster frame at the two narthex shrines to accommodate the lowered ceiling.
For the dome, we designed and installed the Holy Spirit painting on canvas and performed decorative treatment using gold paint. For the Oculus frieze, we designed it using color and metallic finishes. For the nave transept and frieze, we designed the decorative frieze and fabricated it on canvas in-studio, along with performing decorative treatment for the capitals.
