Sri Rangatha Temple
The gilding of the domes and statues was done with genuine gold leaf using traditional gilding materials and techniques.
This project included the gilding of 2 front domes including the underside of the domes, and statues with 23.75 K gold at 2lgrams. The four dome halves and statues were delivered and worked on in studio and later installed at the temple. The process included the fiberglass panels being cleaned and primed and the surfaces being sized in preparation for gold leaf.
