The John Canning & Co. design & planning process included detailed research on the Richard M. Upjohn church decoration period design schemes. The historic paint study and scientific analysis revealed the original colors and stencil patterns which were faithfully restored using traditional materials and decorative painting techniques.

Our historic paint analysis provided the information needed for the accurate restoration of Richard Upjohn's intricate designs in this National Landmark church. New, fine-art murals were also created for this project.
