French Consulate

Consulate General of France, New York, NY: Conservation of West & East Rooms, Stairwell, and Gallery

John Canning & Co. was selected to conserve and restore the historic French Consulate in NYC. Work began with a paint and plaster analysis and report as well as full scale mock-ups of selected designs. New finishes were installed on all surfaces in the West Room, East Room, Stairwell, and Gallery. The rondels and paintings in the gallery area were also conserved.
